Elsie Reford twice explored the Gaspé on horseback. With her friend Daisie Cambell she rode from Gaspé to Grand-Métis in 1910. In 1911 she rode around the Gaspé peninsula with her two sons, Bruce and Eric. They took photographs along the way, here capturing fishermen on the Baie-des-Chaleurs.
