Regent's Tailors, 324 West Hastings Made by Neon Products, c.1950's, H998.4.2a-r Photographed by Shani Whitbread Video taken by Troy Whitbread This sign was added to on a number of occasions. It had stiff visual competition from the striking Tip Top Tailors shop next door. The Regents Tailors sign is the largest sign in the museum's collection and unfortunately the size of the gallery does not permit us to erect the sign in its original configuration. Take a look at the photograph of it in its original location and try to imagine how this would have looked on the street.
