Ferry bringing men and supplies across the Peace River

Before the bridge at Taylor was built, crossing the river meant a ride on the ferry. Construction on the bridge shown in the top left corner was near completion in 1942 as the tug boat and ferry continued to haul men, equipment and residents across the Peace River.
