Pack Horses
Pack horses were invaluable for activities in the North Peace. Special pack saddles, used with appropriate ropes and knots, held panniers (pack boxes) on either side and then supplies were loaded on top. Condition of the pack pony's feet was important, as a lame horse would be of no use whatsoever.
