Citroen half track used on the Bedaux Expedition. Once used by Bedaux on another expedition to cross the Sahara Desert, the gumbo in the Peace River area, and indeed, BC in general, proved to be too much for these vehicles. Initially, frequent stops had to be made to clean the mud out of the tracks in order to keep going. After making such poor progress, the decision was made to abandon the vehicles and carry on by horseback.
