Participating Cultural Attractions

To date, the Cultural Corridor Project has inventoried and catalogued more than 200 agri-tourism, arts, and heritage attractions. The inventory includes 42 wineries, 28 other agri-tourism attractions, 17 museums, 14 heritage attractions, 19 art galleries, 12 performing arts groups, 15 cultural festivals, and 45 artist studios.

As the Okanagan's most developed cultural tourism product, the 40-plus wineries that comprise the Okanagan Wine Route constitute the backbone of the Cultural Corridor. For its part, the Kelowna Cultural District - the centerpiece of Kelowna's own cultural tourism initiative - forms the Corridor's arts and entertainment heart. Other arts, heritage, and agri-tourism attractions, situated throughout the Valley, flesh out the Corridor's cultural tourism product.

Representative attractions in the Corridor include the Kelowna Art Gallery, the S.S. Sicamous (in Penticton), the Bassett House Museum (in Okanagan Falls), Tinhorn Creek Winery (in Oliver), the Desert Centre (in Osoyoos), and the Grist Mill (in Keremeos).
