The Peguis First Nation Square Dancers have been dancing for the last 12 years under the direction of Linda and Colin Williams.  The group was first started as an after school activity and as time passed they were attending competitions and winning awards across Canada and the United States.

Square Dancing has been a part of our culture for generations.  Many of the elders reminisce about Treaty Days passed when everyone would square dance along with a caller ,who would instruct them what to do next in the square with their partner.

Linda Williams is the co-ordinator and dance instructor along with Colin Williams who assists and manages the group. Various names for the group have been used, as they went from juniors to adult's categories.
