In the Reference Room there are also standard dictionaries, encyclopaedias and reference books on Ukrainian subjects. In the Music Division there is some material on Ukrainian music in Canada.

There is a large Reading Room and also a Microfilm Room where researchers may read material from the National Library in the evenings and on weekends. Visitors to the National Library may notice a memorial plaque relating to Ukrainian Canadians on the right side of the main entrance. This plaque was erected in 1967 during the celebrations of the Canadian Centennial and also when the National Library building was officially opened.
