The province of Nova Scotia, often referred to as "Canada's Ocean Playground", is located on the northeast coast of the continent of North America, positioned at latitude 43-48' north and longitude 57-59' at the eastern edge of Canada's Maritime region.

Nova Scotia's Annapolis and Digby counties make up most of the southwest section of the province, next to the Bay of Fundy.
