ANNE
SAVAGE
ARCHIVES
When Anne
Savage
died in 1971 she left her pedagogical notes and papers to the Art
Education Section of the Department of Fine Arts of the Sir George
Williams University. With the merging of Sir George Williams
University
and Loyola College, the Art Education Department of the Faculty of
Fine Arts at Concordia University became the repository of the
archives.
A 92 page guide was compiled in 1989 under the direction of
then curator,
Prof. Leah Sherman. In addition to Anne Savage's papers, the
archives
also contain some photographs, transcripts and audio tapes of her
own words. In 2001, the holdings of the Anne Savage Archives were
moved to the Concordia University Archives.
