With our lands managed by our people, Snuneymuxw First Nation will have many opportunities for economic development. Some of these opportunities include a casino, bingo hall, gas station, RCMP, logging and fisheries contracts. This would create more jobs for our people while building additional housing for members and/or renovating existing houses.
Logging contracts give opportunities to make room for new housing development and\or businesses.
Also logs could be cut and used to supply home builders with lumber and cut the cost of material.
