The Youth Centre was a great success for the Snuneymuxw youth. It was developed in the early 1970's. All youth from Snuneymuxw First Nation had attended the Youth Centre, which was located at the (old church) Cultural Centre. The age limit for the Drop-In Centre was six years and up. The youth would attend the Centre from 3 to 11 pm. There were many activities they had participated in such as movie night, Arts & Crafts night, dances, language classes taught by the Elders, gym night and drop-in bingo. They also had a pool table, TV, VCR and a fridge and stove for snacks. Below is the Cultural Centre which was demolished in 1998.
