Arthur Street:

Is named after Prince Arthur, Duke of Connaught and Canada's Governor General from 1911 to 1916. Prince Arthur presided over the grand opening of the Saskatchewan legislative building in 1912. It was his daughter, the Lady Patricia, who lent her support and name to the formation of the Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry Regiment.
