Cowie Road:

Named after Bruce Cowie, a prominent Regina broadcaster, general manager of CKCK-TV, and Director of Harvard Developments Ltd.. In 1978 he was the President of the Saskatchewan Roughriders Football Club. Bruce Cowie served two terms as City Councillor in 1964 to 1965 and 1966 to 1967.
