Lochhead Bay:

Kenneth C. Lochhead, was an internationally known artist and a member of the collection of artists known as The Regina Five. Lochhead and his colleagues had a profound influence on the Saskatchewan art scene during the 1950’s and early 1960’s.

Kenneth Lochhead was appointed director of the Regina College School of Art in 1950, a post that he held until 1955. In 1949 he was commissioned to do a series of documentary pictures of Fort Churchill. In 1958 he won a national competition for the mural at Gander Airport, Newfoundland & Labrador.
