Rendek Crescent and Avenue:

Richard P (Dick) Rendek was Regina’s outstanding young man of the year in 1970. Rendek, a lawyer, was nominated by the Wheat City Kinsmen Club in the annual competition sponsored by the Regina Jaycees. He also received a centennial award for his work with the Canadian Mental Retardation Program.

Richard Rendek was the National President of the Association of Kinsmen Clubs for 1969 to 1970. He was also the President of the Saskatchewan Roughriders Football Club.
