White Bay:

William A White came to Regina as a storekeeper in 1895 and served as the community’s volunteer fire chief from 1900 to 1906. In 1907 he gave up his store to become Regina’s fire chief on a full-time basis. Later he served as a member of the Dominion Fire Chiefs Association, The International Association of Fire Engineers, and President of the Western Fire Association.
