Wilkie Road:

Joseph Wilkie was born in Scotland and came to the City of Regina in 1912. He worked as a butcher and then as a store clerk before starting his own business.

Joseph Wilkie was a member of the Regina City Council from 1945 to 1956 and again from 1958 to 1967. Mr. Wilkie was active for many years on the City of Regina’s Finance Committee, in total he gave twenty years of public service to the City and people of Regina.
