Ottawa (Dufferin Bridge and Post Office)

At the southern end of Major's Hill Park, the Rideau Canal is spanned by the handsome and substantial Dufferin Bridge. Back of the bridge rises the Post Office Building, a well built and commodious structure, located at the corner of Sparks and Wellington streets. From the Duferin Bridge the canal descends a short distance to the Ottawa River through a series of six picturesque locks.
