St. John (Queen Square)

Queen Square, named in honor of the late Queen of England, is situated between Sydney and Charlotte streets, at the head of Queen Street. It is a well-kept public park, surrounded by the residences of many of St. John's successful citizens, and commands an unrivaled view of the splendid harbour, of Navy Island, and of the suburb of Carleton on the opposite shore.
