This edifice was completed about 1840.

This is the second oldest Protestant Church in British
North America, and was built by the British Government
in the year 1754, at a cost of £500. The building
has from time to time been greatly altered, enlarged
and improved, and is now a handsome edifice with a seating
capacity of about one thousand. It contains a magnificent
set of Chimes, costing $4,000,000 the gift of Lieut.
Col. C.E. Kaulback.
