Presbyterian Church1; Zions Evangelical Lutheran Church and Parsonage2

1. This church was erected in 1769. On July 3rd 1770 the Rev. Bruin Romcas Comingo was ordained and became their pastor and continued as such for half a century, preaching regularly until his 95th year. He was the first Presbyterian Minister ordained in Canada.

2. The first Church was built in 1771, the second in 1841 and the present structure in 1891. In the second landing of the main tower is the bell which originally hung in the old fortress at Louisburg. It, with another smaller bell in a Museum in Quebec, claims the distinction of being the oldest bell in the Dominion of Canada.
