Fault Lines involved the simultaneuous production of two cloths in two distinct locations, Montreal, Quebec and Santa Monica, California. Seismic data from each of the locations was transmitted daily via the Internet to computers attached to the looms. This information was translated by a specially designed software into a woven structure.
