Born in Iberville, Québec in 1944, Louise Alexandre Filion lives and works in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu. She obtained a Bachelor in Fine Arts from the Université du Québec à Montréal. For the past ten years, she has participated in numerous exhibitions in Québec. In 1995 and 1996, elle has held a solo exhibition Emergence at the Galerie Horizon de Tracy and the la Galerie d'art, Ville de Brossard, Québec. Her works are included in major private and public collections such as the Centre d'art et d'exposition régional de Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Québec.
