Changes at the Correctional Service of Canada

Prime Minister Jean Chrétien today announced the following
appointments:
- Ole Ingstrup, currently Senior Advisor to the Privy Council
Office and Skelton-Clark Fellow at Queen's University, becomes
Commissioner of Corrections, Correctional Service of Canada.
- Nancy Stableforth, currently Executive Vice-Chairperson and
Member of the National Parole Board, becomes Deputy Commissioner
for Women, Correctional Service of Canada.
- John Edwards, formerly Commissioner of Corrections, Correctional
Service of Canada, becomes Special Advisor to the Secretary of
the Treasury Board.
These appointments are effective June 21, 1996.
