Changes at the Correctional Service of Canada

Prime Minister Jean Chrétien today announced the following appointments:

1. Ole Ingstrup, currently Senior Advisor to the Privy Council Office and Skelton-Clark Fellow at Queen's University, becomes Commissioner of Corrections, Correctional Service of Canada.
2. Nancy Stableforth, currently Executive Vice-Chairperson and Member of the National Parole Board, becomes Deputy Commissioner for Women, Correctional Service of Canada.
3. John Edwards, formerly Commissioner of Corrections, Correctional Service of Canada, becomes Special Advisor to the Secretary of the Treasury Board.

These appointments are effective June 21, 1996.
