He was given the title "Minister of State (Multiculturalism)".
[154] St. Germain was assigned by Order in Council P.C. 1988-649 of 31 March 1988, a Minister of State, to assist the Minister of Transport. He was given the title "Minister of State (Transport)".
[155] Vézina was assigned by Order in Council P.C. 1988-2104 of 15 September 1988, a Minister of State, to assist the Minister of National Health and Welfare in the carrying out of the latter's responsibilities in respect of matters relating to senior citizens. She was given the title "Minister of State (Seniors)".
[156] Weiner was added Citizenship to his responsibilities. His title therefore changed to "Minister of State (Multiculturalism and Citizenship)".
