PRIME MINISTER ANNOUNCES BY-ELECTIONS FOR SEPTEMBER 11

Prime Minister Jean Chrétien announced today that by-elections will be held on September 11, 2000 in the ridings of Okanagan-Coquihalla in British Columbia, and Kings-Hants in Nova Scotia.
