Prime Minister Names Parliamentary Secretary

Prime Minister Jean Chrétien announced today the appointment of Denis Paradis (Brome-Missisquoi) as Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of International Cooperation and Minister responsible for La Francophonie. Parliamentary Secretaries assist Ministers with their parliamentary and portfolio responsibilities. The appointment is effective immediately.
