Did you know that a single piece of firewood can destroy millions of trees?

In fact, moving firewood, even just a few kilometers, can introduce invasive alien species, such as the emerald ash borer and the Asian long-horned beetle, and spread disease to Canada's trees. That is why it is essential to remember the following:

  • Buy firewood on site.
  • Burn firewood on site.
  • Leave unused firewood on site.
