Three more individuals "Wanted by the CBSA" removed from Canada

Ottawa, Ontario, July 17, 2013 — The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) today announced three more removals of persons on the "Wanted by the CBSA" list.

On June 26, the CBSA removed Cory Alexie Bygrave from Canada. Bygrave, who was arrested by the Toronto Immigration Task Force (ITF) on December 20, 2012, is inadmissible to Canada for serious criminality, for having been convicted of careless use of a firearm, possession of a prohibited or restricted firearm with ammunition and trafficking in a controlled substance.

On July 8, the CBSA also removed Dean Wayne Morris from Canada. Following a year-long investigation by the Toronto ITF, Morris was arrested in Brampton, Ontario on June 5, 2013. Morris is inadmissible to Canada for serious criminality, for having been convicted of an offence outside of Canada that, if committed in Canada, would constitute a Canadian offence. Morris was convicted of robbery in New York State in 2004 and was sentenced to five years imprisonment.

Finally, on July 9, Donovan Sinclair was removed from Canada. Sinclair, originally arrested by the Toronto ITF in August 2012 after a tip from the public, is inadmissible to Canada for serious criminality, for having been convicted of trafficking in a controlled substance in Canada.

The Toronto ITF is a joint CBSA and Royal Canadian Mounted Police Initiative.

To date, as a result of the "Wanted by the CBSA" program, Canadians have assisted in locating 43 individuals in Canada, of which 36 have been removed. Additionally, nine individuals have been located abroad.

Members of the public are reminded that they should not take action to apprehend the individuals listed on the CBSA Web site. Any information on the whereabouts of these wanted individuals should be reported to the CBSA Border Watch Toll-free Line at 1-888-502-9060.
