Also included are products ranging from statistics from Statistics Canada's Health Activity Limitation Survey (HALS) and the Participation And Limitation Survey (PALS), and the Council's brochure. While the site has a link to "Library," the link takes you to the library classification system, not an online public access catalogue. Service New Brunswick Official Canadian government site
The Service New Brunswick (SNB) Web site provides information, products and services for the use of the public. A provincial Crown Corporation, SNB operates real and personal property information services for the Province. It also maintains the provincial land information infrastructure, assesses land and buildings for taxation purposes and, through its Web site and service centres, provides a gateway to an array of provincial government services. The services on the Web site are divided into two categories; those used by individuals, such as vehicle registration, and those services used by businesses, such as access to tenders. The two sectors overlap and contain a rich array of services to the public, though not all services are electronic. For example, the forms to renew medicare cards can be downloaded and printed from the SNB Web site, but completed forms must be submitted by mail or in person. The "Directory and Publication" link is deceptive; there are many reports on the site that are not listed under the heading of publications. While many online services are free, some of the services are through paid subscription only, such as the Collective Agreement Retrieval System. Maps and charts for sale are listed on this site, and there are links to the Royal Gazette and the Statutes of New Brunswick. Navigating the site is facilitated by the arrangement of services, site map, and search facility.
