"I landed in Winnipeg on the 28th of March, 1892 out of money. I left my wife and six children in Ontario..." Written testimonies from pioneers are rare - they didn't have a lot of time to write. The Archives holds 73 Saskatchewan pioneer diaries in which they wrote about settling on the Prairies. The collection is a small gold mine.
