Summary:
The decline of Fraser River sockeye is a human and political problem, not a natural one. Collective action is necessary to remove obstacles to sockeye salmon survival, which include fish farms on our coastal shores, watershed logging, the use of pesticides that leech into the Fraser River, over-fishing, and misguided Right to Farm legislation.
