Summary:
Definitions for commercial fishermen and recreational fishermen are confusing.

Submission:
I am a resident, native to British Columbia.
I was born in Murryville (Langley) Hospital.
I have fished commercially as Captian of a gillnetter since the age of 15.
I do not consider myself merely a "commercial fisherman", that describes my JOB!
How should I describe my experiences as a individual recreational fisherman ?

State I AM A RECREATIONAL FISHERMAN?
Understating I also fish "commercially" as well?

Are guides and charter operators also fishing "commercially" ?

When ones JOB is taking out a group-charter fishing, say to catch salmon, is he considered to be A "recreational fisherman"?
Not a derogatory term such as" commercial fisherman " surely!
Why in all other seafaring industries are captians knowledge and wisdom held in high regard except for mine?
I hope some may think otherwise, and treat us with some respect at the conclusion of this inquiry.

It would seem near impossible as an outcome, but one cannot lose hope.
