Summary:
British Columbians care deeply about the health of wild salmon, which are core to the vitality of the province. Conservation of wild salmon must be the primary goal of the public and of resource managers. The commission is urged to uphold the Fisheries Act and to apply the precautionary principle. Also attached are two poems about sockeye salmon.
