We need to end the practice of ocean fish farming.

Submission:
END FISH FARMING NOW---Having worked as an ecologist and seen so many man created disasters on land, fish farming is yet one more disaster. Economically it benefits a few at the expense of the ecosystem. Fish farming from an energy standpoint is not economical and it is a poor use of another resource of protein used to raise Atlantic salmon. Farming concentrates a species that does not belong in the Pacific ecosystem and carries inherent risks of not only disease but the release of yet one more species not native to the habitat. It was a bad decision from the onset and we need to end the practice of ocean fish farming.
