Summary:
The hearings on ISAv should be live streamed.

Submission:
Thank you for continuing to look at ISA virus and other diseases that could be present in B.C.'s precious salmon. This issue is so vital that I urge you to allow live- streaming of the upcoming hearings this week. As a lay person, it is very difficult to learn all the available information which is vital to the future of the health of B.C. salmon. Therefore, please allow the public to access live the testimonials of the chosen participants. Please release all documents relevant to this issue. Please accept all submissions, opinions and studies that are recommended to the Commission.

I remain astounded that the Canadian Department of Fisheries and Oceans operates without any transparency to the public. Taxpayers are entitled to all available information. We shouldn't have to be pleading to a Commission to reveal all studies, communications, reports, briefing notes to politicians, and rationale for decisions. With DFO working with fish farm operators behind closed doors, not only do we threaten the future health of salmon but we also destroy democratic rights. I urge the Commission to work in the public interest which may conflict with the agenda of our current federal government.
