Summary:
I would hope that the Commissioner will cause attention to be paid to the scientific and economic potential of onshore fish farming.

Submission:
Sir, with respect to the commission’s mandate to develop recommendations for improving the future sustainability of the sockeye salmon fishery I would hope that you will cause some attention to be paid to the potential of onshore fish farming. It seems to me that fish farms in the open ocean suggest that both the economics and science of onshore fish farms might be something to be considered.
