Summary:
It is obvious that the wild salmon population in BC is at risk right now and it is critical that serious action be taken to manage and protect this fishery. If we continue to pillage our ocean in such a wasteful manner, we may be left with a barren ocean with only plankton and algae.

Submission:
Protect the fragile ecosystems that exist along the BC coast to preserve them for our future. Do not let short term economic gains destroy an extremely valuable species/habit/ecosystem. It is impossible to predict how BC wild salmon populations will recover and what their disappearance would mean to the other species that live along the BC coastline.
