Summary:
Despite their own regulations, DFO has ignored an environmental assessment and allowed dredging, which stirs up contamination, to occur on Shuswap Lake.

Submission:
One of the first things that dfo done many years ago was to bring in laws through the fisheries act to stop any dredging that would harm fish habitat. The fisheries did not make for their own staff to ignore them in self interests as it seems that way when they allow dredging outside of the windows allowed for dredging.This is a known practice on the shuswap lake where they allow dredging while ignoring an environmantal assessment and stur up contamination.
