Public Hearing on Participation and Funding

Ottawa, March 15, 2007 - The Honourable Frank Iacobucci, Commissioner of the Internal Inquiry into the Actions of Canadian Officials in Relation to Abdullah Almalki, Ahmad Abou-Elmaati and Muayyed Nureddin, will be holding a public hearing to receive applications by interested individuals, groups, governments and agencies for an opportunity to participate in the Inquiry and a recommendation for funding. The hearing will take place from 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 21, 2007, at the Bytown Lounge, 111 Sussex Drive, Ottawa, Ontario.

The list of applicants will be posted and updated on the Inquiry’s Web site www.iacobucciInquiry.ca, under “Hearings”.
