MEDIA ADVISORY - REMINDER JANUARY 7TH AND 8TH OLIPHANT COMMISSION HEARING ON STANDARDS OF CONDUCT Ottawa, January 5, 2009 - A hearing will take place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday, January 7 and 8, 2009 in the Victoria Room at the Bytown Pavilion, 111 Sussex Drive, Ottawa. The meeting is open to the media and the public. The purpose of the Hearings is to receive submissions from the parties to the Inquiry concerning the standards that the Commissioner should apply in determining certain matters set out in paragraph (a) of the Inquiry's Terms of Reference. The Terrace Room, located on the terrace level will be available as a working room for journalists.
