Résumé :
Le MPO devrait adopter une position plus résolue en appui du poisson sauvage. Les piscicultures devraient recourir à des systèmes de confinement terrestre.

Représentations :
I would like to see DFO take a stronger stand in support of wild fish. I believe that DFO and the Government of Canada take the side of Fish Farms over the protection of wild salmon. Fish Farms may be needed to help produce food for the world, but land based, closed containment is the way to go. They should not be competing with the wild fish, and they should not in any way pose a threat to the wild fish. DFO's first commitment should be to the preservation of the wild Salmon of the BC coast.
