I just want to advise you on the state of DFO in British Columbia. It is a never-ending saga of mismanagement and deregulation. The fish farm issue is a good example of how corporations are influencing our government, and how DFO seems completely unable or unwilling to address the continual decline of our common fishery resources. I am hopeful that your inquiry can begin to change this trend by shedding light on the mismanagement of the aquaculture file.
