Beth Powning, photographer, writer of fiction, non-fiction and poetry, has published Seeds of Another Summer: Finding the Spirit of Home in Nature (Toronto: Penguin Books, 1996); Hardy Trees and Shrubs (Toronto: Key Porter Books, 1996); and Roses for Canadian Gardens (Toronto: Key Porter Books, 1991).

Her photographs and non-fiction have appeared in periodicals including Atlantic, Insight, Atlantic Business, Arts Atlantic and Harrowsmith; on numerous CD's ; and on a 1998 Calendar for Parks Canada. Powning's photographs have been featured in some twenty exhibitions since 1987. Beth Powning lives in Sussex, New Brunswick.
