Computers on Campus has two different methods available for financing a computer purchase. Both rates are similar, but terms and qualifications vary.

CAMBRIAN CREDIT UNION
Anyone who is buying a computer from us can apply to Cambrian Credit Union to take advantage of their excellent loan rates. These loans can be offered at a rate of Cambrian Prime plus three-and-a-half percent.
It is easy to apply on-line.  All you have to do is log onto the Cambrian Credit Union website.   If you do not have a credit history you will likely need a parent as a co-signor. The application form provides space for the co-signor's information, if required.
To ensure your application gets assessed right away, please mark your  “Purpose of loan” as “Attention: Blair – U of M Computer Financing” and your “Branch of Choice” as the Waverley (2251 Pembina Hwy.) branch.
Also, if you are a student looking for a financial institution close to school to do some of your banking, Cambrian’s Waverley (2251 Pembina Hwy) branch will be pleased to not only help you with your loan request, but also any of your financial needs.

EMPLOYEE COMPUTER PAYMENT PLAN (ECPP)
If you are full time faculty or staff at the University of Manitoba, you can apply to have your computer financed via payroll deductions. The Employee payment plan is also at bank prime + 1% with the rate fixed at the time you sign the contract. This method of financing is available for a one year term only. If you are full time, in a continuing position, and the payment amounts are less than your take home income (per cheque) you will be approved without going through a credit check.
