Important Dates and Deadlines
The following dates apply to most faculties and schools. Some special dates apply to Agriculture Diploma, Medicine, Dentistry, Law, Medical Rehabilitation, Pharmacy and Dental Hygiene. See the Academic Schedule as well as the Registration Guide chapter for your faculty or school for other dates that apply to you.

| September 5 | Last date for Fall Term fee payment without financial penalty |
| September 6 | First day of classes for most faculties and schools |
| September 6 - 19 | Registration revision period |
| October 8 | Thanksgiving Day Holiday: No Classes |
| November 12 | Remembrance Day observance: No Classes |
| November 14 | Last date for Voluntary Withdrawal from courses in Fall Term 2007. Some faculties have courses with irregular withdrawal dates; see your faculty general office for information. |
| December 5 | Classes end in most faculties and schools |
| December 7 - 20 | Final examinations period for most faculties and schools. Students must remain available until all examination obligations have been fulfilled |
| December 22 - January 2 | University closed for Holiday Period |
| Winter Term 2008 | |
| January 3 | University reopens. Classes start January 7 |
| January 7 | Classes resume in most faculties and schools |
| January 7 - 18 | Registration revision period for Winter Term courses |
| January 18 | Last date for Winter Term fee payment |
| February 18 - 22 | Mid-Term break: No classes or examinations in most faculties and schools |
| March 20 | Last day for Voluntary Withdrawal from all Fall/Winter Term 2007/2008 and Winter Term 2008 courses. Some faculties have courses with irregular withdrawal dates, see your faculty general office for information. |
| March 21 | Good Friday Holiday: No classes or examinations. |
| April 11 | Classes end in most faculties and schools |
| April 14 - 29 | Final examination period for most faculties and schools. Students must remain available until all examination obligations have been fulfilled |
Voluntary Withdrawal Dates and Fee Refunds
The following dates apply for courses in most faculties and schools. Students in Agriculture Diploma, Dentistry, Law, Medical Rehabilitation, Pharmacy and Dental Hygiene, and/or who are registered in irregularly scheduled courses should consult information provided by their faculty or school.
