Graduation and Convocation
The University of Manitoba Senate approves candidates for graduation three times per year: February, Spring and Fall. The University community gathers to celebrate the academic achievements of its students at Convocation ceremonies held in Spring and Fall. February graduates are invited to attend Spring Convocation.
In order to graduate, students must complete all faculty and program requirements. All students entering their graduating year should check with their advisers. It is the student's responsibility to ensure all requirements are met before graduation.
Please Note:
- Students who have taken a course(s) at another university for credit toward their degree are responsible for ensuring that the Registrar’s Office has received the official transcripts from the host university no later than May 15 for Spring graduation, October 1 for Fall graduation and February 1 for February graduation.
- Verify your program and course registration on Aurora Student and make any necessary corrections as soon as possible. Contact your Faculty or School General Office for assistance.
- Verify your telephone and mailing address are up to date and make any necessary corrections as soon as possible.
