To help prepare you for university, to choose your courses and register for them, we have designed an online tutorial called Start@U1.
The Start@U1 Online Tutorial will help you wade through the mass of information you are expected to understand before you register. Admitted students will receive a Start@U1 information package. This package includes the 2008 – 2009 University 1 STARTbook and information about the Start@U1 Online Tutorial. The tutorial will help you understand how to choose your courses, construct a timetable and use the Aurora Student Registration System.
Before you can register for classes in University 1 you must complete the START@U1 Online Tutorial including a short quiz at the end, as a registration hold has been placed on all student accounts. Once you have successfully completed the quiz at the end of the tutorial, your registration hold will be removed.
- You can view the tutorial at any time, it is available to everyone. HOWEVER, you can only complete the mandatory quiz at the end if you have been admitted as a University 1 student.
- After completing the Start@U1 Online Tutorial at the appropriate time, please allow at least 1 business day for your registration hold to be removed.
- If at anytime you want to revisit the tutorial, you may do so.
